In this video we are going to learn how to install the new BigBattery 48V FLCN Elite.
IMPORTANT:

In this video we showcase Installation on an ICON EV Golf Cart.
Consider that the actual installation may differ depending on your Golf Cart's Make, Model & year.
Some Golf Carts may need the purchase of a step down converter (48V to 12V) for the lights.

You can replace the golf cart's onboard charger with the Bigbattery provided charger.
Contact the Golf Cart Manufacturer for more information about your specific model.

You may need to extend your cables from the motor controller and/or the charger.

Question: I have a stock Yamaha G29 (new) controller with a stock motor. Do you think 1-48v Falcon Elite battery can get 20mls on a charge with 4 grown adults and soundbar on AND without tripping the BMS? Thank you....

Hi, I messaged sales but figured I'd ask here as well. I have an application with 9kw peak and 6kw nominal, though it'll generally be much lower 2-3kw. Your data sheet states 4000W continuous but also states 150A continuous (which would be 7, 500W at 50v) with a 360A peak discharge rate (18kw at 50v). I like the battery but just need a bit of clarity so that I can decide if a single battery will be sufficient for my project. Thanks!

Customer Service not so good! I purchased a Big Battery Falcon Elite kit (2battery)recently and it was to include a digital/numerical battery meter. They sent a simple(non digital) meter instead that is very erratic and appears very cheap. Spoke with Big Battery twice about this and the first time 3 weeks ago they said they would send the correct meter. They didn't. Spoke with them a few days ago regarding meter and now they now tell me that they are no longer available. They now tell me that I can purchase the new meter that is included in the kit.

DO NOT purchase the 48V Falcon Elite battery if your golf cart has regenerative braking! I installed one in my 2017 EZGO RXV cart and experienced a very unsafe condition when the battery was fully charged. I live in a hilly neighborhood near a golf course that requires going down a slight decline to the course. I was going slow down the hill and suddenly the cart accelerated at full speed and the only way to stop it was to turn off the key leaving a 10-foot skid mark. It happened more than once and Tech Support couldn't help. After numerous phone calls, it took 3 weeks to receive a refund (cost minus 20% restock fee plus shipping). Buyer Beware!!

Does the charger not shut off to prevent over charging? I plug my cart in and leave it.
