People are also confused what day the war started. Putin gave his speech on the 21st stating he was going to be invading Ukraine. Bombing started on the 22nd and troops crossed the border into Ukraine on the 24th.

I can't even find words for how painful last February was -my family is in Poland, so not only was I grieving for the Ukrainians, but also hearing about the refugees in our home town already a week into the invasion, and just not being able to sleep for weeks, worrying about what's next for Poland too.... It's remarkable how reported Russian daily losses were in the 100 to 150 range between day 20 and day 200. Then it slowly ramped up. Today, June 2023, day 473, 500 Russian casualties per day are considered to be exceptionally low. It's a human tradegy made by Putin, but also shows how Ukraine only gets stronger. Slava Ukraini!

Olena, from What is Ukraine channel was packing backpacks with supplies "in case she had to be rebel in the woods." And she has three kids under the age of 10 with one an infant at the time.
