Its more of a normal repaint than a premium finish. I really hope the other are more "premium"

Many people I know don't like this mould because of all the kibbles and not very accurate to the screen but I ended up really like it because of how the the car doors fold to look like tiny bee wings. I think it's a really nice touch.

PF01 Optimus surely gets a better paint job. This Bumblebee is just...not "premium" enough.

Now that I look at it, this Bee shares a lot of its engineering with the SS Bayverse Bee. The front fenders, door wings, and chest are transformed the same way, but super fiddly, and the backpack just doesn't work on this version because the Beetle's roof is so round.

I do agree that the paint here is lacking that premium name because PVP does give some good points, but honestly I’m super exited to get mine, I really like the mold when I got this long ago I was super happy with it, it is definitely not movie accurate but I love this design, and this new paint is what I’ve wanted out of that original for a couple years now, and for me I think it’s worth the money, sorry if I was rambling

To those of you that bought this figure and don't like the way the interchangeable right forearms I.e. the hand and gun falling off everytime you move it, here's a simple fix that worked for me. Put about 3 very light coats of clear nail polish on the peg that the forearms attach to that will increase the peg's diameter enough that the forearms stay tight and don't fall off everytime you move the arm. Let each coat of nail polish dry before adding the next so you can test fit until you have the desired fit.

Honestly I really like the lighter shade of yellow. I have the original and yes it's crap. At least this new version more variations in color, it really does look better.

Popping the clear plastic backpack from bot mode scares me everytime, but you make it look so effortless!

Takara seem a little out of touch when it comes to some of the picks for this line. We needed a Premium Finish Sentinel Prime, not Bumblebee Optimus and Bee.

The premium finish yellow is actually much more accurate. Bee’s yellow in his solo film was a desaturated yellow as he’s an old VW that was under a tarp for a while. The vibrant yellow of the standard release is more in line to his Camaro yellow which is more new and vibrant

I hoped at least they would have fixed the sloppy tabs… and it turned out that I seemed to have hoped too much… And thanks a lot for this great review. I enjoy your review way more than this actual figure. I have 2 variants of this mould already and both turned out to be terrible esp. when it comes to transformation.
