I'm a retired Canadian forestry fire fighter. Using water from a hydrant on a forest fire, is like trying to put out a fire by spitting on it. Canada sent water bombers, equipment and more trained fire fighters down to LA. The time to look at how we can prevent this from happening is not now. Do that after the fires are out. Lets focus on saving lives and putting the fires out. (& please lock up fools flying drones in a fire zone!)

Quebec is in Canada, British Columbia is also in Canada, both provinces sent fire fighters and equiptment . ( BC wild fire services) both provinces are in Canada. The point was that Canada sent fire fighting help so ya, the Canadian fire departments are helping.🇨🇦✌️

I find the signing extremely interesting. Not sure why this announcement requires all these men standing staring at the camera. This drone just damaged an air craft and endangered the crew and added to the burn area.

Canadian here, where did you get the name super scooper? It is a CL415 water bomber, an improved version of the older CL215 which had radial piston engines. The aircraft can land on fresh water lakes, scoop in water and then carry it to the drop zone. Enough water that if you were standing in the drop zone, you would be killed.
