I really think focusing marketing on the sleep features was the wrong way to go. I can think of several other ways I would enjoy this product, like using it as an alarm for cooking or productivity breaks. Even just walking into the room and seeing my cute little clock with my favorite Nintendo character on it running around or hearing a fun, noninvasive sound that chimes at the top of the hour would be nice.

Also hysterical that the sleep features do NOT work with more than one person in the bed. Nintendo is making a strong assumption about their market 😂

7:16 exactly! I used to use the Mario DSi alarm out of necessity, and I STILL get PTSD when i hear the Mario Bros water theme or the Star theme, because those were the alarms I used. Even now years after I stopped using it, I still associate those melodies with stress and anxiety. So when I saw this "alarmo" thing I was like "no way am I getting that."

I feel like the commercial was certainly recorded without any of the soundeffects. i dont believe for a second that anyone wakes up with a big smile on their face while this constant coin soundeffect blares right beside them.

Ringfit being a theme instead of Animal Crossing is probably the biggest oversight I'll see all month. A device centered around sleep and quality of life and you don't choose the cozy, gentle game that people literally fall asleep to?
