OnePlus 8T + 5G (Lunar Silver) Unboxing

Hey what's up guys and gals. It's Roy here and I have another unboxing video for you. This go around I have the brand new OnePlus 8T from T-Mobile. With this video I will be doing a complete unboxing of the device. I want you to know exactly what you are getting when you buy this phone from T-Mobile. I have to imagine the unboxing experience is the same when you are purchasing the unlocked version directly from OnePlus.

This phone is the new upgrade from the OnePlus 8 that launched earlier this year.

This phone comes with some pretty impressive specs. For example you get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, 12GB of ram and 256GB of storage, IP68 water resistant rating for the carrier version, big flat 6.55" FHD+ AMOLED screen, stereo speakers, ridiculously fast 65W charging, and a "new" quad camera setup. Added bonus is getting Android 11 (OxygenOS 11) right out of the box.

Does the north america version of the oneplus 8t not come with a clear case in the box? Because I ordered a new 8t from best buy and the box came with small dents on the top corner and middle of the box. And it didn't have the seals on the box and no clear case in the box. Which makes me think it was opened before being shipped

What about reception on t mobile prepaid? Does tmobile wifi calling work? Voice over lte? Some customers complained the regular 8 had reception problems

Good overview but a couple of points to think about for future videos. More lighting as the video is pretty dark. Second and more important. You just showed everyone the IMEI and other information on your device as well as I believe your phone number when the VM notification popped up. You might want to edit that and double check to make sure it doesn't show in future videos as the channel grows and probably in this video as well. That is information you don't want out there publicly.

Good Job!
I like to see real world in depth comparison with S20 FE. Especially as Tmobile offers $500 off of that too. So basically it would be $199 for me. But it has less RAM which I'd like you to check if that really impacts the function when many apps are open at the same time.
Things that reviews often miss to review but I care about are, graphics fluidity especially screen rotation lag, Google maps and GPS speed, Time to snap a quick photo from lock screen etc.
