Specially designed Contour DSB Sandpaper has holes that align perfectly with the holes in the sanding blocks. Those DSB are a great innovation! Wish I had those when I was blocking the body on my Mk1 VW Jetta. My garage (and my lungs) would've appreciated it!

I would probably run a cyclone separator in front of the shop vac. Works great when I am doing drywall work.

You applied filler over guidecoat…….I thought that it needed to be removed

The roll on epoxy looks really good ... ill have to try that 👍

I got the Mirka dustless sanding block - this video is spot-on, abs fantastic with no real dust to worry about. still find my old fashioned 3 foot big long Durablock is still better at quickly showing up subtle lows and getting long panels really straight. The 16" block somehow misses a lot of the detail. Sadly the old fashioned long block makes a hell of a lot of mess with dust.

Question. I thought my body work was good so I sprayed on the 2K urethane primer surfacer and it looks great but there are a few spots where my body work could have been better. Now what to do? Do I have to sand off the 2K, fix the spots with the contour body filler and respray the 2K or can I put the body filler over the 2K, sand it down to smooth and then respray the 2K over it and move onto by base?
