While it was looking pretty promising this morning, I’m glad I held off posting this vid until things looked more certain. CSAAA has now confirmed. Needed to do a hasty edit as originally this was based on there being a temporary window yet until at least Nov 9 to still acquire them dastardly handguns.. also why I was a little more chipper than I ought to have been in the vid. The update wrecked a few jokes I had originally put in there as well. “Sunny Ways” & “Jumped the Gun” were among the based commentary that was cut. Alas, sorry to say this battle is lost, but optimistic the war is far from over. It’s the long game we must now play and for that I have some ideas which I discuss in the vid.

I live in Alberta, and I had to panic buy a single action .45LC. We even have Chiefs of Police speaking out saying this will only hurt legal gun owners not criminals

The problem even over here in the states is the gun community is ridiculously small compared to the general population. Even other gun owners at my job (fudds) look at me like I’m crazy when I tell them why the right to own the same weapons are the police/military is important. So when government places “common sense “ laws they don’t think it’s a big deal since they have been programmed to think guns are only for hunting.

Yea man this is a shame. My wife is Canadian. Her dad is legally a collector in Canada and we are worried that he won't be able to pass on his handguns on and keep them in the family after he's gone

A lot of U.S. citizens may like to think we are immune to this same type of ban, but unfortunately as time passes most politicians don't seem to like the idea of people being able to defend themselves. I hope this silly ban is dropped in a short time.

That sucks to hear, we here in Oregon now have to deal with measure 114 which features quite a few unconstitutional things including (gun registry with the police which is made public and searchable online, red flag laws, 10rd magazine limit, grandfathered "high capacity" mags can be kept for home, range, and competition use. You now how to take a mandatory firearms safety class and pass a test that you have to pay for. Purchasing firearms now requires a license that is only valid for 5 years before you have to renew it, and I'm probably forgetting some other stuff. Everybody is scrambling to buy lowers and mags including myself before the law takes effect and ccan be enforced.

Yes, right now is the time to take all pistolmto the range everytime. Show them how common they are. Also, peaceful non- compliance is always an option but be prepared for all associated fees.

Anti gun my self for years, i recently changed my mind about guns.. as a canadian. Last year i did my pal and rpal course and got my rpal card in august 2022. Unfortunately, all the panic buyers bought every best handguns left.. so in the panic because i knew there will be a freeze soon, i bought 4 cheap handguns i will probably hate to use. And as of 1st nov 2022 (two months has passed since i bought the handguns) im still waiting to receive those handguns. The process to legally bring those guns home is extremely very slow. I've seen people who had to wait more than a year for their handgun purchase to be approved. The point is. Im a pro gun now.. pro gun also because i know it is difficult to obtain a handgun legally, and i would not risk to loose that privilege by doing silly things. Owning handguns in canada comes with very high risk to lose all your investment, go to jail and end up with a lifetime criminal record, not be able to cross the US border etc.. ofcourse anti gun canadian don't know those things unless they do like I did, trying to go through the process to legally buy a handgun.
I have never voted conservative.. next election i probably will.

We saw the extent of Trudeau's tyranny during the Big Lie of 2020, which saw the most basic of basic human rights being stripped away, for a lot longer than anywhere else in the world. As a European who lived in Canada for a number of years, it's depressing to see how far it's fallen just in the last ten years.

I was never able to get handguns here in Canada, where I live is too rural so there's few ranges and the ranges that do exist take advantage of that and gouge prices, so I never could get the rpal. Not only do I want this handgun freeze to thaw, I want it to improve. I also want to become a gunsmith, but so many of the people around me are complacent. Sometimes it's hard to hold on to hope for a free Canada. Complacency and partisan politics are too strong, it seems impossible to get your voice heard by the bigwigs out east.

There are a lot of countries that have some chance of not being incorporated into the WEF vision of "you will own nothing and you will be happy." Canadians seem hell bent on stomping the gas pedal to get there, though.
