2024 has been the year of speed when it comes to football boots! Lots of new boots, all offering something different, with the big question being, which ones should you pick? In today's video I do my best to rank all of the current top-end "speed" boots from Worst to Best, discussing what each of them is all about along the way. What do you think is the best "speed" boot of 2024?

I love that u really gave puma alot of praise, shows how objective you are, you shat on the older gen objectivley, and have no problem praising them when they get it right! And boy did they ever! They look sick and preform amazingly. Personally, i prefer the carbon, but still, the ultimate is great and feels like a more old school hardcore speedboot like vapor 8 etc.. great video!

My personal ranking as a wide footed person 11. alpha 10. f50+ 9. f50 LL 8. ultra carbon 7. ultra 6. skechers 5. furon 4. mercuriels 3. Morelia 4mij 2. f50 1. F50 messi ( I don’t like raised toe But I like a little bit of grip also I like comfort lockdown wide base and u thong construction)

Once you try other brands, especially brands that aren't really available, you realize how generic, plain and overrated Nike and Adidas really are....not saying their terrible by anymeans.

If the shoe fits buy it in every color, so we have 4 Mizunos Alpha Elite, the best by far for quality and value. Happy to see Puma Ultra is pushing themselves out of the hype. Adidas at the end of the day is a disappointment, focusing on marketing, and releasing so many variations instead of something outstanding. I hoped that the Mercurial will be a really new model, but they look more like an update. Still attractive though. Thanks!!

I find the comparison of the Mizuno Alpha to the F50 offensive. Comfort, feel, and fit are not comparable. Alpha blows the F50 out of the water. It has the speed cage, the zeroglide, the enerzy foam and the karvo insert. They are completely different boots in my opinion. The Puma Ultra 5 at number 1 is a big surprise. I'd place them just behind the alpha and Morelia 4 but massive improvement from Puma.

I initially brought the alpha elites but came across a made in Japan pair at a price I couldn’t refuse about a year later. I have to say the MIJ is actually quite a lot better. Both are good but I way prefer the MIJ it just feels so much more premium and light on your feet

Puma ultra 5 genuinely feels like merc 13 more than anything else I’ve tried. The upper is almost identical, weird non of the reviewers have mentioned this tho. Love it.

Alpha still the top dog for me but id love to try out the new ultras. Like you said, on paper, everything you'd look for in a speed boot done right🙏🏻

It took a while to accept getting a pair of MIJ Alphas. I wanted to never like them, hated the shape until finally I found a pair of MIJ for sub $200. By far one of the best boots I’ve ever worn. Something about the traditional tongue makes them feel just right.
