Leica SL2 | the Leica that does it all

I’ve spent the last year working with the Leica SL2 system for a wide range of needs. When Leica reached out about partnering up to share my real world, practical experience with the SL2, I was incredibly honored and excited. This is just the first of several videos we’ll be working on together to show what makes the SL2 system so special.

This entire video was shot by myself and Nathan Hirschler with the Leica SL2, Leica SL2-S, and Leica M & L lenses.

I’m really happy for you, congrats!!!
I couldn’t afford an SL2, not even by selling my 3 Fuji cameras. Luckily I don’t have to cause I’m very happy with them, just like you are with your Leicas. Isn’t that a wonderful thing, finding what makes you happy, what works best for you, beyond brands and looks, and be in peace with it?

Brilliant solid camera, I sold my Q2 too get a SL2s because the grip and feel and like a 35mm lens. Got a 35mm voigtlander m mount on it.
Such a nice system, I did literally get a 28-70 2.8 sigma to use on it. But don’t like how the depth of field doesn’t adjust in live view, end up looking to see if got the details I wanted on the back of the camera.
Anyway that lens is going back, just stick with my manual 35mm which suits my way more.

SL2 is a monster and I think its best used when you adapt M lenses to it - Always been a fan of you and your work - your videos encouraged my transition to Leica a while back... and I have never looked back since!

At some point I'd like to try the SL2. I borrowed an M10 a couple years ago and it didn't click with me, but I'd love to try this system just to see. Or maybe it's just film brain that didn't let it connect. Great work as always, dude!
