Your vlogs are so incredibly relaxing and inspiring. I’m inspired to make delicious food and try books that I wouldn’t have normally picked up. Thank you for all your work creating these lovely vlogs ❤️

I really enjoyed this vlog. It's great to hear more about the books on the Jhalak Prize. I hope you manage to move to your new home soon. Wishing you all the best x

so i have not read Ocean Vuong's poetry, but when i read On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous, I almost viewed it more as poetry than prose because if I looked at it as a "novel" it wasn't great for me, but looking at it more as poetry or something other made me appreciate it a lot more. Not sure if that's also heavily influenced by the fact that, at that time, I primarily read genre fiction so reading something "literary" was a lot of work and much different from my normal thing.

Loved the vlog, the cooking and walking bits that you weave in! I always find it just so calming and relaxing. I've read 4 so far from the Jhalak prize and really enjoyed all of them (Honorifics, Roles We Play, Things we do not tell & Somebody Loves You). I have a copy of Brown Baby and I'm keen to pick up Consumed and the other poetry collection that you loved. Good luck with the move! I hope your new home brings you plenty of joy and happiness!

Congratulations on your new home! I hope all goes smoothly. I wanted to tell you how relaxing I find your vlogs--especially the walks with Lola & Mr. M and when you are playing in the kitchen. A question for your upcoming video--how did you learn to cook and bake from scratch?

I enjoyed hearing your thoughts, especially about the poetry which I have a hard time appreciating and understanding. These aren't really genres that I find myself engaging with but you made them all sound so wonderful.

Hi Jen, love the sound of Like a Tree, Walking and Honorifics. I discovered the rabbit hole of the Poetry Book Society, (where I found these two) oh. my. god. 😁

"Fresh and funny take on the ....heroin trade." Wow, I did not think that sentence was going to end that way.

Lovely video! I am excited to add Like A Tree, Walking to my TBR. I’m very curious what the stunning yellow flowered bush or tree was? Was that rose, something about it seemed unlike rose to me. So beautiful.
