Shaka Ilembe is a South African historical drama series that tells the story of the life of Shaka, the founder and first king of the Zulu Empire. Moreover the epic series tells the story of precolonial kingdoms and paramountcy's and the heroes and villains who shaped and influenced one of Africas greatest kings - King Shaka kaSenzangakhona, son of Queen Nandi.
