The cord idea for hearing aids could also be good when wearing masks since many people have lost aids due to masks. Having the cord might help give that extra security so aids won't get knocked to the ground when taking the mask off. Thanks for all the tips.

You did a great job explaining and being enthusiastic at the same time! I also think the tip about the length of glasses arms was super helpful. Thanks!

I have to say & I have said it before Emily but your glasses really suit you! Its a shame you don't wear them all the time as your passionate about hearing aids! I was hoping you were as passionate about glasses as there are still people out there that won't wear them! You have so many hearing aid followers perhaps you may be able to help our short sighted/long sighted friends! I love the blue tint on them they look like they are for using the computer etc!

Im a glasses and hearing aid user. I have had glasses since I was 4 and 4 years later I got hearing aids. I was not born hard of hearing. I was born hearing. Most of my hearing loss is caused by ear infections that were not treated early on because my parents didn’t know I had ear infections because I never complained my ears hurt or ran a fever. I failed a hearing test at school in kindergarten that’s how they knew. I do say “a” at the end of my words because I don’t hear myself saying it. My mom thought I would out grow it when people would mention it to her. She didn’t make the connect that I could of had a hearing loss at the time. And I didn’t get hearing aids until I was in second grade. I am moderate to sever in my right ear and I’m sever to profound in my left ear. I also have a permanent hole in my left ear drum because one doctor put the wrong set of tubes in my ears. I’m now 27. I do not qualify for the cochlear implant. I have the the Phonak Nadia B90 SP hearing aids in the color black with purple ear molds. I also have a ruby red Phonak Rodger Pen FM system. I also use American Sign Language. I am the only sibling with a hearing loss. I’m the oldest of 4 kids and my parents are hearing. My moms sister is fully deaf on one side.

I like that elderly look I don’t have any blindness or what ever you call but I always tell my mom to wear double bridge frames and I’m getting new pho all hearing aids soon and I picked beige Because my grandpa has that hearing aid color I don’t know why I like that look also sorry I have such long comments.

I’ve had issues with last 2 pair of glasses so did this search on how to manage both and what is sard most often is put your glasses on first. I thought maybe my arm was too short ( thus changing the l way they sir ) but you mention when it’s too long it interferes. I never take my aides out till bedtime. Think I’ll change where I buy glasses as the sales person at audiologist office doesn’t seem to have suggestions.

I don't have molds, just domes. Using the glasses cord is a great way to prevent losing an HA.

For me with glasses width of the ear rests also makes a difference - generally speaking wire or very thin plastic ear rest are best for me (YMMV). I can wear thicker but my HA's will have a cow eg feedback every now and again - yes, my HA's have feedback suppression and it's instantly squelched but it happens every time i move them put them on etc) eg: my oakley wayfarer style sunglasses are too thick - my raybans wayfarer style are just right. So i agree you just have to pay attention to the frames when purchasing. My issue lately has been HA's, sun glasses or cheaters AND masks and having the elastic from the mask get tangled with the behind the ear part of my HAs. Oh and lasik, i had early cataracts (i was born w/Rubella thus my hearing loss and eye problems are a result) when i had cataract surgery on my left eye they found out i'd had a double astigmatism in that eye (corneal and lenticular) that for my whole life canceled each other out so my vision was fine, when i had the cataract surgery that took away the lenticular astigmatism and left the corneal astigmatism - thus after surgery i had double vision. They did lasik to make it right - so for me it was a necessity. I don't regret it, my vision today is phenomenal and i use cheaters for close up stuff. Once again, i wrote a novel LMAO - loved your video and i'll be using your hack!

Have any of your followers reported any problems with hearing aids with touch control being disconnected from a phone call because of movement between the glasses and the hearing aids. I have a new pair of hearing aids and when I am on an extended call over 30 minutes sometimes if I touch my glasses or move suddenly I get disconnected. I would be interested if anyone else is experiencing this problem. Thanks.

Hi! I wear glasses, and hearing aids. It is easy to do, but watch out if your hearing aids tend to fall out, they might fall when removing your glasses.

Hi. I love your videos. Very cheerful and helpful. I also have a few enquiries about my mild hearing loss. Is there another way to contact you to just ask quick questions?

I wear glasses (I'm legally blind in my left eye, with glasses, and low-vision in my right). I wanted to try an experiment to attach my HAs right onto the glasses' arms... I used small hair ties, and wrapped them a few times around the earhooks of my HAs (Phonak Naida UP btes--pretty big HAs!), and then poke the arms into the loops around my HAs. The verdict: 'twas quite awkward and difficult, and the HAs seemed to pull upward, rather than sit back far around my ears like I like. They deafinitely ;) stayed very securely to my glasses, but yeah, my head felt like a cyborg, hahaha. I tried loosening the hair ties, but then my HAs weren't as tight as before; they fit a bit noticeably looser, but they were still on my glasses. It was an intriguing concept, especially because if I had kept them on like that, I'd have no choice but TO wear everyday (I'm terrible at wearing my HAs; bad deafie, haha!)...but, I ended up just wearing them without the ties.

Growing up wearing glasses and hearing aids, did you do anything to prevent the tops of your ears from growing in a way that sticks out or did you just get lucky in that respect?
