CHEAP: 1. You mentioned smoking out the reflectors.. I went ahead and wrapped/smoked out my 'rear' reflectors as well.
2. Mirror covers - <$20
3. Sequential blinkers <$25
4. BimmerCode - <$40 / tons of settings to change. A. Car turns off when door opens, instead of pushing the on/off button twice. B. Seat belt sound & light off. C. REAR Fog Light on/off. D. Change ALL lights to LED settings etc

2016 428i here. I honestly wrapped my V bars with colored electrical tape and it looks fine. car is currently in the shop getting a muffler delete. I have also chrome deleted and am adding a spoiler.
