It's not as fast, but works way better for removing stickers and similar stuff: rubbing butter on it and leaving it over night. The fat dissolves the glue and you can just rinse the sticker off.

Light sand with some 3000 grit wet and dry and a second going over might do it, it's not cracked so I'd be optimistic. 👌🏻

You basically did what I planned to do anyway🤣 I’m a detailer so when you busted out the compound and polish by I was pleasantly surprised. I really don’t know what it is with these lenses that have the Japanese stickers on them but I just love them for some reason😂🤷‍♂️

I credited you in a video I made a few months ago, and was wanting to revisit the idea again. What you’re missing is needing to sand. However, I myself didn’t know how to buff and polish. Polishing it by hand helped, but it didn’t give the gloss that yours had, though I removed the scratches almost entirely. Any chance you’d tell me what you used to polish? I think combining both methods might help!

And this video is why there is really no point to saving these. Ps, sanding with different grades like car headlights then polishing will yield much better results
