2017 Hyundai Sonata starter replacement

Hey I just did it this way. Thank you so much, learned a lot about my car being thorough like this. Just want to add one thing, it’s not just 5 bolts/nuts of the intake manifold to remove. If it still doesn’t budge, check underneath the manifold- there is a BRACKET there with 3 bolts.

U can do it without removing intake manifold, just did one today, remove neg bat cable, remove air box assembly, remove bracket with 4 - 12mm bolts holding it under the intake maniifold, remove the 12mm nut holding the cable to the starter solenoid, unplug the connector to the starter and lastly remove the 2 14mm bolts holding the starter and its out

Is there a way to access the starter without removing everything? I just want to hit it a couple times to take it to car shop. I replaced my other starters but they usually just got pulled out by the bottom of car no other work needed

Why did you take all that apart when you could have just UN-bolted it then reach your hand behind the manifold pull it out UN-plug and UN-bolt it and been done????
