Thats why we start watching NCAA women basketball games because of Caitlin Clark. Watching from the Philippines 🇵🇭

Lynette Woodward embarrassed herself considering the league she played in (AIAW) dissolved in the 1980s. She can keep that record! Nobody watched her play and only know about her because of Caitlin Clark, now the record is broken nobody will mention her name again unless they are referencing how she embarrassed herself when her record was broken.

SHE IS ALREADY BETTER THAN MANY "STARS" AND RETIRED STARS OF THE WNBA!!!!

Kinda makes you wonder how Paige Bueckers was POTY in 2021. Oh, I know, because she played on an elite team, surrounded by A-A's, and future WNBA players. Edit: And CC did this year in, year out. No missed games to injury. The epitome of consistency.

Now that CC is gone, who is going to attract the crowds she drew? After the first 2 games in a Florida tournament Clark sold out every arena in which she played. Clark’s NCAA tournament games set TV viewership records. That is a tough act to follow. There are little girls all over the country wearing gold and black jerseys with 22 on them.

Just to say - and please note, I am nothing if not a CC22 fan - she is not the all-time college points leader. That record belongs to Pearl Moore, who - in the 1970s, before 3 pointers, and in only 128 games - scored about 100 points more than Clark and that record still stands. Clark's record is an NCAA record, not all-time college. I'm putting this here because Moore should not be forgotten - watching her play must have been as breathtaking as watching Caitlin play, and she deserves her kudos.

The wnba learning curve will see how wnba players that are used to playing in front of small crowds handle a sold out Caitlin Clark crowd.

She broke all their records, that’s why they’re so bitter. Records are made to be broken, grow up.

I genuinely feel like within the next few years, the WNBA is going to explode in popularity not only nationally but globally. With Clark, as well as the talented draft class, I think they're going to start a huge thing for professional women's basketball and even women's sports.

Of course, Taurasi and Steward are jealous of her. They have not transformed the bb game during their collegiate and wnba careers. That is the reality. Dawn, Lobo, Sue Bird and Parker are more graceful, inclusive and respectful.

We couldn’t ask for a better human being to be a basketball superstar, an example for everyone.

People need to remember how healthy she has been, hasnt had a serious injury and is getting better, if she gets stronger and becomes a better defender she finna be a problem!!

More on Cheryl Miller.
"Still the most highly recruited male or female player ever, Miller chose the University of Southern California. There she became a four-time All-American and led the Trojans to a 112-20 record and to the NCAA title in 1983 and 1984. The back-to-back titles were an NCAA first, and she was tournament MVP both years. She won the Naismith Trophy and the Broderick Award as the nation’s best woman basketball player three times, shared the 1984 Honda Broderick Cup as the outstanding college athlete in any sport and was the Wade Trophy winner in 1985. With 3, 018 points—at a time when there was no three-point line—and 1, 534 rebounds scored over 128 games, she ranks 14th among the NCAA’s all-time leading scorers and still holds USC records for points, rebounds, field goals, free throws, steals and games played. In 1986, she became the first player whose jersey was retired by the university.

In the international arena, Miller led the U.S. women’s basketball team to a gold medal in the 1983 Pan American Games and to another gold in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. In 1986, she added a gold medal at the Goodwill Games in Moscow as the U.S. team broke the Soviet Union’s 152-game winning streak."

CC means more money for the WNBA meaning more money for the players when they can raise the CAP

Another video that I saw recently talks about some kind of an offensive power rating score or something like that. Aren't there some more records there? And after breaking various career records, didn't she break here own records every time she scored, leaving various records at their totals only after the last point in the last game?

There plenty of big NBA stars that didn’t win the NCAA Championship. Basketball is team game, and even the best players need an adequate supporting cast. Iowa only had 1 or 2 other decent players. South Carolina had 8 or 9 that were at least good.
