tips: for haze of misery, it’s actually very easy, start from port town and go up where u would casually grind by lvls, u can kill 1-5 npcs with purple dot until that group of npcs don’t have it then move on, another tip is getting the “fear the reaper” quest when rolling for hallow essence or someone else is.

The haze of misery trail Is by far the most annoying one to do. Best advice if anyone is doing that is to put pale scarf on so the player tags give you a general direction to head towards. Soulless you can do by yourself as a Buddha user, I recommend putting a high boosting accessory on as it helps go on faster. It took me about 2-3 days to get this sword literally because of the elite quests it's a pain.

Edit: Pale scarf is your eyes in the fog. Players will most likely be divided on all islands if you don't have Portal fruit to make it easier it took me 2 tries

One more edit: USE BUDDHA, YOU'LL BREEZE THROUGH THE SCROLL TRIALS

For haze of misery just get a friend with portal and if you want another friend to keep track of what you did already. I did that and it took me around 30 mins. That was with server hopping due to auto grinders

Tips for souless

•You need to hit big mom with tushita or yama make the damage meter purple

•Don't die because you will need to get the quest again

•The time limit to kill her is 2mins if the music is gone restart the quest

•Make your friend get her to red heath and do the quest and teleport back to cake island

•Immediately transform small if your using Buddha after killing big mom (optional)

•Don't make her to low in health if she gives you mastery you killed her right

•use soul guitar m1 if it's bullet floats it's probably a bugged server (rumoured)

i have a tip/suggestion for those struggling with haze if misery, get a friend to grind you through all the islands and NPCs, always check turtle and hydra since they're the quickest islands that you can access. now as for killing the NPCs, you only need to kill around 5-8 of them, you dont have to do the entire group in general.

Tip for haze of misery, check the secret Yama room behind the waterfall, the ghosts have purple dots. I didn’t realize this until I spent more than an hour looking for the last dot and I was just like why not try.

Hollow essence is so annoying to get. Even though haze of misery was hard it wasn't as hard as hollow. A tip I recommend is getting friends and you all roll together

I reccomend using pale scarf mink v4 or v3 and portal for haze of misery and a private server because in a private server you can easily do it because no elites or bosses have been spawned

MAKE SURE: When ur killing the cdk skeleton u need to hit the last bow with yama or tushita u can damage him with anything before BUT at the damage him with the sword (yama or tushita)

For haze of misery if you don’t have any friends or anyone willing to help try joining a small server if you have a (priv server join that) all you need is Buddha and time go around the npc areas and search for purple circle if the npc has them KILL them (be aware that some island may not even have npcs that have purple circles) if that the case then double check and move on remeber that npcs with purple circle will spawn in every island and ghost from the Yama cave will also have them good luck 😉

Got lucky on the fear the reaper, I never get the essence before until I activated the cdk quest lol. The rest is quite easy. Haze of misery took me a while to complete because I realize that the yama room ghost NPC is also a purple dot
