It is by far the most magnificent home in the city. I was a guest at an event there and while I always loved this building this unit is simply spectacular

I worked on the Woolworth manybyears aho in the 80's. That was never there. It was just large rooms & storage spaces, with an elevator shaft in the middle. Supposedly the guy who built the elevator demonstrated "how safe it was" by going up to the observation deck but the cable snapped & he died.
They said it was never used afterwards. I had the keys to all that because we did work up there, and spent a July 4th up on the observation deck with some friends.

I was actually going to buy this apartment. I was just about to sign the paperwork when I realized, do I really want to carry my groceries all the way up here? No way I said. So I settled for a dumpster behind McDonald's. Glad I didn't do it.
