Until the members of Congress decide to actually behave like honest respectful decent human beings, I have only feelings of shame and disgust for them. Actions speak louder than words. We tell our children daily, to behave properly, to respect others, to not bully, to be honest, to show moral courage, to be true to their faith, to respect the teachings of their elders. Congress is many people who appear corrupt, dishonest, disrespectful and lacking in moral courage.

We use superheroes to teach our children what it is to be good in the battle against evil. It is sadly ironic that not one superhero would find the many rotten members of Congress to be good. Why do we accept this? Why is the Government so despicable?

If it is within 3 months of an election I could understand the stay of motion, otherwise it's a VERY bad precedence to set. It can/would only hurt the court by allowing this manipulation. All nominees deserve the respect of a vote.

This is so silly. Holding the Supreme Court seat hostage with petty partisan games is wrong, so Chris Matthews thinks the best thing to do is get back at Mitch McConnell by using similar petty tactics?
