2022年11月18日、ウクレレファウンデーションハワイはANA主催の音楽イベント「アハメレ」とのコラボレーションとして、3時間にわたるウクレレ演奏のステージを提供しました。日本からは関口バンドが登場、地元ハワイからはブリットニーパイヴァやカラエ・カマリロ、そこにマーク・ヤマナカの飛び入り参加もあって、2023年に復活するウクレレピクニック・イン・ハワイを大いに期待させるものになりました。演奏中ワイキキシェルの真上には、3年近くパンデミックに苛まれた人々の心を癒すように、大きなダブルレインボウがかかりました。

On November 18th, 2022, Ukulele Foundation of Hawaii presented a 3-hour ukulele music concert in collaboration with ANA 'Aha Mele. Sekiguchi Band from Japan, Brittni Paiva and Kala'e Camarillo from Hawaii shared the stage, as well as Mark Yamanaka’s “jumping-in” performance. This event surely made us look forward to the upcoming Ukulele Picnic in Hawaii in 2023. 
During the performance, a large double rainbow appeared right above the Waikiki Shell, lifting our hearts away from the pain and sorrow built up in the past three years of the pandemic.
