GUYS SAME PROBLEM HERE.. IT SHOWS ON MY LOCAL FILES BUT NOT ADDING INTO MY PLAYLIST. THE FIX IS THAT YOU HAVE TO DISABLE THE SMART SHUFFLE RECOMMENDATION. JUST GO WITH THE REGULAR SHUFFLE, IT SHOULD SHOW UP. idk why spotify disable the local files music when the smart shuffle is on.

For me adding the songs to a playlist on my computer allowed my phone to download them but you need the files on both devices

I found the problem guys for those who even after the video still have troubles. For some reason, Spotify doesn't support "WAV" files. When I changed the file to MP3 format the folder appeared on my Spotify app with the song in it. I don't know which formats Spotify supports but MP3 worked for me.

Anyone know a fix for some local file songs being greyed out for no reason? Like I have a album with 2 of the songs greyed out but other songs on The album are fine
