You may to press REALLY hard. Remember, what your doing is popping a lock through that hole that springs forward the SIM tray. If you don't push down enough the tray will NOT pop up. I got so frustrated by this, until I watched this video.

My 13 pro max has wifi issues. Constantly loses connection while saying connection strength is 100%. Heard removing and replacing the SIM card can help. It didn’t but I had to watch this video to figure out where it even was so thanks. Lol

Now that I see it's on the left side, it's obvious. Can anyone tell me what the random strip on the right-hand side is, the one below the power button? That's where I originally assumed the SIM card was, but what is the patch that's obviously different color and texture on the right?
