I still think the worst thing about Mauga is the sheer overstimulation of his entire kit.
His guns take up half your screen and glow bright yellow AND bright orange. On top of that, you're usually being shot at as well, so you have the armor damage screen overlay AND the regular damage overlay. Then, if you pop Overdrive you're now glowing and shimmering AND casting a ring that does the same to your team. PLUS on top of all of that you have the gun sounds blasting in your ears AND all of Mauga's shouts and screams. Not to mention the fire effects on Overrun and setting enemies on fire, and all of this being twice as worse when the enemy is ALSO Mauga.
There's too much going on visually and audibly. Balance is one thing, but even the actual experience of playing the hero is probably the worst of any in the game.

They really do need to do something about the visuals, with more heroes coming in it's just gonna get even more crazier. The first thing they should work on is the way bullets appear on the players screen/face.

I really wish they'd at LEAST add some kind of light sensitivity setting. My duo and I have issues with intense flashing lights causing migraines n other stuff. So even just playing against or with a mauga is absolute hell for us. Everything about him fills up your screen with so much bright flashing lights n shit. It's hell.

The reason bastion counters rein is because his turret form deletes his shield and rein without shield is useless. Now imagine a character that's whole gimmick is to have 2 bastions as his primary weapon
