Where Planes Go To Die - 'Boneyard' | Airplane Graveyard

A Boneyard is often known as a place where planes go to die. They are often kept in the desert to reduce corrosion where they are stored, scrapped, and have their parts removed for reuse.

The Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona, USA is home to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) aka “The Boneyard”. It is a controlled-access facility and off limits to personnel without proper clearance. It is only open to civilians via a bus tour, unfortunately you cannot get off the bus to take photos.

Andrew Arthur Breese created and made available his B-roll time lapse from within. The colour, movement, contrast in lighting is simply amazing.
This creation deserves a million views, I’ve only seen a few hundred views where it was simply reposted. I have had the pleasure of adding audio, and adding text to identify all the aircraft I coud for all the airplane lovers out there.
