Hello! I am returning for three weekly uploads this month, to perhaps lift sad spirits.

Winter is finally over. The last few months have been very challenging on me vocally, so I would like to celebrate the incoming warmer weather by getting round to something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now - create English versions of the three Princess League songs from Yakuza 5. There are technically English lyrics but a) they’re not for the full song and b) they’re not well-written; the phrasing isn't synced up with the beats and it doesn't roll off the tongue.

Of course, I have to start with the first and most popular one - “Konnan Ja Nai”, or “So Much More” in the English language. Let’s support the yakuza daughter’s dreams!

i've listened to this song so much i've even made english passionate all-stars cheers. I like to listen on the back porch and i usually cheer as kiryu because of his haruka interjections during the chorus.
