i love how for the pat 3 or 4 releases, C# has been ripping off more and more F# features, but nobody at MS actually has the bollocks to state it explicitly. i'll wait a couple more releases and then i'll put C# experience on my cv despite never really having done much C# and i'll probably get away with it :D

6:42 Will Framework 4.8.1 only add ARM support, or will it include updated APIs? There are now several magic incantations to enable newer language features on Framework—unsupported of course, but they do bring Framework 4.8 agonizingly close to subsuming Standard 2.1 / Core 3.1.
