I wouldn't be surprised if we find out LEGO pitched Nintendo to make a LEGO Super Mario game, but Nintendo rejected the game because LEGO would want to release it as a multiplatform game

Not surprised, Sony knows their core audience aren’t much for LEGO games. They want Horizon to be a bigger media franchise outside the gaming realm.

I'm more hype for the SNK x Capcom crossover in Street Fighter 6, I hope this means they'll re release Capcom vs SNK 2 or a collection.

Why would everyone be surprised on lego horizon coming to switch? It's LEGO, it's on everything. The surprising part is that it's not on XBOX.

Like I’ve been saying for years now, PC + Switch is probably the best combo in gaming history. Especially now when we have plenty of handled PCs on the market.

Nintendo won... none of their IP are on their competitor's platforms, but we got Microsoft and Sony IP's on Nintendo systems. Yes I am kidding... relax. It's just a lego version of Horizon.

I don't think a LEGO game possibly selling more on Switch will tell Sony much of anything, other than they may want to consider other LEGO games for Switch.

I like how the word around the town is lego pushed for a sony IP to be multi plat and thats why its being shipped on switch...its amazing how everyone was around the negotiation table when the decision was made 😂😂😂...just hope we all remember that not all lego games are on all consoles/platforms

Nintendo just has too many core IP to pull from - they will never have to put their games on any other platform. And I’m ok with that!

Never really understood why they can't just fork a gameplay demo and replace placeholder names and remove/replace unused models and assets with cubes or something.
Yeah, it may take a little longer but if you don't want your demo datamined then that's the cost. Besides, there are tools or companies could make internal tools that can auto-remove unused assets and scripts to drastically speed up the process. I use them for Unity so I know they work.

Power Rangers Rita's Rewind and Spirit Nights (the Alan Wake II DLC) were also pretty cool reveals during Summer Keighleys.

Black Myth would have been a Day 1 for me but it not being actually physical means I'll wait on it. Waiting for physical discs has proven to work with BG3 and now AW2, so I'm good on waiting again.
