I have my son in the shop all the time, what you're doing is good, we can't always been 100% available to them and it's good they learn that. This here is a natural and healthy interaction 😊

The exposed sides of the drawers are beautiful, what a great idea. Show off all that hard work.

Love you including the reality of having kids in the shop, my kids are a little younger than yours and not old enough to be in the shop yet so it’s nice to see a preview of what’s to come.

Such a beautiful creation from the Lord's to your hands. So lovely to see Judd busy in the shop, I thought you were very patient. It doesn't hurt to let a child know that they need to allow you to concentrate so ask them to just be calm around you for a while. It will help to instill the self discipline he will need when he comes to make his own creations.
Shame about the lost footage but it was lovely to see you assemble it in that mysterious place. Thank you for letting us see the masterful process that goes into such delightful designs. 👍🙏👏

I totally get that difficult balance between wanting to keep the kids nearby and encourage their creativity, but also needing time to concentrate. You show a lot of patience!

Impressive build! I truly appreciate you showing your faith. I thank God that there are men like you who are not afraid to be authentic in this world. You can't please all of the people...and why would you want to. Thank you for all the work it takes to make these videos!

Beautiful piece, Andy. I'm setting myself up to have the tools to execute dovetails, and I appreciate that you outright say, "You're gonna have gaps... everyone does." A lot of your fellow YT woodworkers, I think, like to project the image that every dovetail they cut is gapless... maybe some folks can do that, but if I can get what you attained on that half-blind, I'd be happy like a pig in s**t.
Also - you said you got frustrated with your son, and I could tell, but your patience was astounding. Keep in mind that he's learning THAT as well, and you should be happy with yourself. You didn't yell or say hurtful things, just calmly stated you needed your whole brain at the moment. He will in turn be patient with his kids.

I love seeing you let your boy play with your workshop tools. I am more into metalworking myself. But my dad introduced me to welders lathes and other machines at an (maybe too...) early age. Under severe observation of course. I am so thankful for that. Metalworking is in my backbone because of that. That is parenting. Let your kids try, and educate them on the way folks! Lovely!

Love to see the younger generation doing something other than video games and tv. 👍

I've not seen that done before. The dovetails on the slats, interesting as that all could be done on a CNC. I like the open sides, again I've not seen that. But I think the draw pulls being a hole is the coolest bit. Choice of wood for the draw sides. With them being exposed, that has be good wood, not cheap.

That's some really hi level craftsmanship, Andy! Definitely one of the best peaces you've done so far. For someone who fallows closely your channel for a long time now, it's pretty special to feel that I've seen you develop as a craftsman, woodworker and furniture maker. You should be very very proud of your job. Being proud of your achievements is a good thing, and has nothing to do with bragging. So be proud, you earned it!
Once again, I really wish you all the success in the world, Andy. You've been an inspiration all along.

Absolutely amazing work of art Andy. You sir are a true craftsman and artist always love watching your videos because you include your kids in your videos they are so blessed to be able to see their dad do what he does and to have you teach them how to use the tools at such a young age.
