I am CS major student. All I can say about Flutter ( also from my friend experiences), Flutter has to be one of this possibility.

The first one is, to write a native android or ios app using java / kotlin / swift / objective C is quite hard. Surely it has great performance needed to build a large complex mobile apps, such as editing video app, artificial-intelligence and ml based apps, and other type of complex applications. But the thing is, the majority of apps is not always a complex one, that can be just sufficient using flutter. Flutter is fast too if not fastest in production and so easy to maintain. So in the first condition, I would say flutter would be the head and shoulder above everything in the cross-platform non complex mobile application development.

Secondly, Flutter is the smoothest language when it comes to cross platform application. And imagine, if somehow google can manage to make flutter stable all over other platforms beside mobile, desktop including windows, macOs, linux, web, and embedded platforms, then it will be a very hugee tech. Imagine a company would not need to hire a dekstop developer, web developer, embedded system developer, they only need one flutter developer to maintain all of it. If this is succesfull somehow, it will just make businesses easier.

So I hundrend percent believe that the future is sooo bright if not the brightest compared to any other languange. Just that, it now depends on Google after all.
