You gotta eat coconut straight up. It’s already super sweet

That same logic could be used with nearly anything that we add salt to eat... Does that mean it's not tasty? The sugar just enhances the flavor 😌

bro there's 2 types of coconut
1.the coconut that still have green color and drinkable water
2.the coconut that already turned brown and really husky

mostly the coconut that's being used to make candies, chocolate, coconut milk, and etc is a brown coconut, and brown coconut meant to be processed before you can eat it, you wouldn't find a raw shredded coconut meat as a treat of their own because it'll taste bad but green coconut is edible raw and often taste better if it's fresh, different than brown coconut

Coconut does not only belong in candy, it belongs in my heart

Sometimes, whenever I listen to the Vat19 crew, it makes it really clear they've never tried any ethnic foods/sweets. Like, hello. Just because the average bigger American candy companies underutilized coconut or processes subpar coconut doesn't mean that all coconut sweets are somehow less.

Coconut is an excellent ingredient in candy due to its unique flavor and texture. Its sweet, nutty taste complements many confectionary flavors, and its shredded or flaked form adds a delightful crunch or chewiness to candy bars, truffles, and other treats. Additionally, coconut oil and milk can be used to create a rich and creamy texture in candy. Moreover, coconut is a natural ingredient, and its inclusion in candy can provide nutritional benefits, such as fiber and healthy fats. However, some individuals may not enjoy the taste of coconut or may have allergies to it, making it necessary for candy makers to provide alternative options. Despite this, the versatility and appeal of coconut make it a valuable ingredient in the candy-making industry.

It’s like eating straw. It never fully breaks down in your mouth, and just leaves you chewing on it like cud 🤧

As someone who is allergic to coconut, they need to stop using it in almost all candy's. It gets super annoying to see coconut oil, coconut flour, tree nuts in 9/10ths of candy
