Typo O was such an underrated band…nobody sounds or sounded like them.

I saw them play one year at Ozzfest and people in the crowd were actually booing them for some reason. And at the end of the set he was just like "for all of you people out there who don't like our music just keep in mind we could have played a lot longer"

He was fighting some demons for sure. The dude was very smart and very kind. You wouldn’t think it by looking at him and his music, but you can’t judge a book by it’s cover. RIP

Saw them open for Pantera 3 times, they fucking rocked and definitely got the shows off to a great start. I’ll never forget those shows.

I still cant believe that Jerry Springer died. Im 38 now, so in the 90s I used get enjoyment out of his whacky shows as a kid. These are especially fond memories. Rest Easy Jerry 🕊

We were Very close at the beginning, for 4 years…The most beautiful, passionate Man I have encountered in some years. They don’t make them like him Anymore, and they never will.💯💚😔

I was fortunate enough to interview Peter back in the day in Syracuse, NY. Genuinely one of the nicest, funniest, most self-deprecating and humblest rockers I've ever met. Had a great time partying with him and the band too. Just a really great guy you'd want as a friend. But he was pretty depressed too. I think he had "imposter syndrome" or something - he couldn't understand why so many people loved him and his band. He just didn't think he was that unique. But if you ever saw him onstage in a smaller club, his stage presence dominated the entire place. And his voice was AMAZING. Very powerful live and the band put on a GREAT show every time I saw them. I admit to being a huge 'Carnivore' fan (one of his earlier bands). But was really happy for his success. They all worked hard to get there and deserved it.
I was crushed when I heard he passed.

Peter seemed like such a genuine and kind guy. He wasn’t rude or disrespectful, mean or arrogant. Had a sense of humor and took so much in stride. Rest in peace 🕊️

I met Peter years ago before a TON concert in Hollywood and he was such a nice gentleman. May he rest in peace.
