Brief Political History of Bolivia

This video explores the basics of Bolivian history and politics to explain why the country went from a very rich part of the Spanish Empire to one of the poorest places in the continent today. It explores why it lost territory to every one of its neighbors and why it has been so politically unstable. It begins with Francisco Pizarro, goes through the Federal and National Revolutions, the ouster of Goni, the rise of Evo Morales and his resignation. It ends with that aftermath and the election of Luis Arce in 2020.

Although I don't agree with calling the Bolivian Socialist Falange "Fascist". They were patriots that were betrayed by the MNR.
And it should be mentioned that Óscar Unzága's Falange was the most popular party before his death in 1959.
