I like how similar this scene is to the Scene where Prowler finds out Miles is Spider-Man in “Spiderman into the spider verse”

I was really bummed out by Phin/Tinkerer. They set her up to be a REALLY good villain, with a motivation that you could totally empathize with. They even gave her the detail of how she specifically directed her troops to not hurt civilians when she took that festival hostage. But then she goes all "How could you LIE TO ME?! I can never trust you again!!" bullshit, when she's just as guilty of leading a double life. And I get that, it's very common for humans to be hypocritical like that, but it doesn't make me continue to empathize with her. It actively makes me care less and less about her issues, every time she opens her mouth. By the end of the game I was genuinely rolling my eyes at her combat banter with Miles.

The best villain in this game was the Prowler. Who had the most compelling motivation for trying to get Miles to stop being a hero. Not for money, or world domination, but for survival. Being a hero gets you killed, just like his brother, and Miles' father. And Prowler KNOWS the kind of people that Miles was setting himself against as a hero, and he was scared for his only living family. He wanted him to join him, so he could help keep him safe. WAY more understandable of a goal, all the way through the game.
