My favorite is “An American in Austen”. Hands down.

Hallmark already has several modern-day versions of Pride and Prejudice (including several featuring dogs). It'd be great if these movies talked about her other novels (and short stories) that don't get talked about as often: Mansfield Park, Persuasion, Northanger Abbey, Lady Susan, etc. Granted this is Hallmark Channel, so they'll probably go for the obvious and iconic storyline of Pride and Prejudice and Darcy-related puns. But since many Hallmark movies star older actors in their 40's and older (with many Hallmark fans being older viewers), a different take on Persuasion would hit much harder with older actors.
