If you have a Windows 7 or 8 key you can use that to install Windows 10.

On my country's version of ebay so many keys are sold for 2-5$, it is probably those oem or student keys

Microsoft lets you use their Windows 10 for free. Just download the Media Creation Tool on THEIR website and don't activate it after you install it.
You only get a small watermark on the lower right corner of the screen and you lose the ability to change the cosmetics of OS.

Just adding to the Motherboard that may have passed away with Windows. If you have a MS account then there is an option to activate it without ringing MS on a new MB.

If you have an old Window 7 key or Windows 8 key, just use that (with the equivalent Windows 10 version) and it'll work. All these keys you can buy online are just old Windows 7 and Windows 8 keys, so be aware of that, these sellers are making a fortune.

Best free win 10, is the free version of win 10.

I've been using it for years, works fine.
There is just the watermark that once in a while covers a game's UI... but if that is essentially all that 30-120$ removes... i'd rather have the 120$.

Last thing is, don't activate it. It has no time bomb. you just can't change the background.

the cheaper keys are normally legit. You may need to call in to activate the license. No Biggy!. Just read the sites instructions. A lot of the keys are sold from overseas but are legit. They are bulk licensing keys.

You can install windows 10 for free on your computer home or pro and you are not requred to activate it. Just you have to live with the water mark on the bottom right, you can upgrade to latest version without restrictions. Also you cannot change wallpaper and a few other settings.
