You speak fast, but it's a GOOD thing, because you speak naturally. I have had to watch this video multiple times, and again, that was a GOOD thing, because watching this video multiple times made me memorize words and phrases better. And, I now can even recognize some phrases when I listen to my favorite Italian singers such as Al Bano and Romina Power, Toto Cutugno, Riccardo Fogli, Richi e Poveri... Thank you, Desiree, and Thank you, Italian Pod 101!

Of all the lessons I have taken over 20 years, this one is by far the best. I think it is because she combines simple and natural phrases with some sayings.

I've checked out a dozen videos on YouTube for learning Italian. I consider this one second or third best of all the ones I've listened to quite thoroughly. I had to watch this video multiple times to really understand and learn. The first couple of times I was fascinated by her good looks and did not note her words! She also speaks fast but that is the normal speed in Italy so this is a good way to learn to understand the fast delivery of Italian spoken in Italy. I only have a couple of months to get ready for my stay in Rome, Milano, etc
