Who dreamt up this ridiculous clap for carers? Is the NHS a needy child that has to have reassurance to feel valued? I don't think so. Working in the NHS used to be a vocation. I wasn't in it for the money, or for recognition. I regularly risked my life for total strangers. It cost me my health and I got no compensation. I didn't have time to make videos and sing songs for the media!
