In 1990, deep in the badlands of South Dakota, paleontologists unearthed the bones of a monster. Forty feet long and weighing several tons, the fossil skeleton was assembled and rebuilt into the largest, most complete T. rex ever discovered. Named Sue, this majestic icon of the dinosaurs has captured the imaginations of millions of museum visitors over the years. But her full story has yet to be told...until now. Waking the T. rex: The Story of SUE traces the life of one of the most feared predators of the Cretaceous. Join scientists as they decipher fossil clues to piece together the lifelong struggles, from nest to death, of this famous Tyrannosaurus. Witness her life events unfold, including an epic battle with a Triceratops, in a world where the only rule is eat or be eaten.

BROOO! You don’t know how LONG I’ve been trying to find the whole film in its entirety! Ever since I saw the trailer of it back in 2012, at the field museum and being terrified to then seeing the trailer YouTube in 2013, I searched for this damn film! And now, the mission is finally over!

The animation with the carcass decaying, the skeleton fossilizing and then transitioning into the photograph was a work of genius!

I love a good dinosaur documentary, and this is a really solid one! The reconstructions look on-par with the time, and Hell Creek is an actual subtropical floodplain! The only gripe I have is that Troodon is a nomen dubium and has been split into Latenivenatrix, stenonychosaurus, and pectinodon.

To be honest, it’s a really good documentary in my opinion except for that we now know that Tyrannosaurus rex was more than 7 tons. It was 8 to 9 or perhaps even 10 tons, but the design of the Tyrannosaurus looks really damn dope. I have to say a lot of muscle, no shrink wrap, and it doesn’t look like a Jurassic Park T-Rex, which is pretty accurate, overall it’s one of my favorite 2010s Tyrannosaurus rex design in my opinion

(Gasp) It can’t be. It’s the Documentary Film I saw in August 2011 at the Liberty Science Center. I like the story of SUE the Tyrannosaurus Rex. I wish this was released on DVD in America. Especially in a Widescreen format. Especially in a Bright high definition. Oh & another thing, I think some of the sequences remind me of some of the other best Dinosaur Films I know of. I know, I know one of those designs resembles those from that History Channel Dinosaur Documentary from 2008. But some of the designs have been changed to fit the more robust look. Where was I? Oh yes, the Similarities from one of the other Films I might’ve seen. "& some I never got a chance to see." 1:51-1:54 (Gasp) This is just like that 1998 IMAX Film on Dinosaurs. Especially her kind. 10:56 Why Even both SUE’S Mother & SUE herself as an infant to an Adult almost resembles the Rexes from that 1998 IMAX Film. But I never got a chance to see that in IMAX 3D, I didn’t understand what IMAX was until 2003. I would give a thing for it’s 45 Minute 1998 Predecessor to return for a limited time so I can make up for lost time. Anyway, 17:19 This looks like that scene from the 2000 Disney Film DINOSAUR. “Except it was a Pachyrhinosaurus & a Carnotaur.” However one of SUE’S kind was originally planned for that Disney Film. 17:31 Hello, what’s this? 17:34 That pose it’s making, it’s just like the other one from Jurassic Park. “Except this Trick isn’t sick, it died from crushed neck vertebrae & weakened from loss of blood by SUE herself.” This is & was an impressive T.Rex Documentary Film.
