Naze Tower at Walton On-the-Naze

Built in 1720 as a navigation point and is now used as a point of interest, where you can enjoy breathtaking views from up high, Then have a cup of tea in the tea room. ( in a non covid world)
It’s closed at the moment but will reopen in March 2021.
When you stay at the beach hut this time of year, you many not want to spend all your time on the beach. This presents an amazing opportunity to explore the area. Get the family out walking.
We went for a walk along the Naze. It’s wonderful.
Explore the beach for shark teeth and fossils. If you keep walking along the shoreline, you can cut up further along, avoiding the steps to the tower.
The landscape is amazing.
I’ll be heading back many times definitely taking a bucket for all the treasures I found on the beach. Hopefully, I’ll get lucky and see a seal!
