something interesting i heard was that he also always used to use a flanger but turn it down very low. it allowed his tone to sound really full and thick. no idea if it’s actually true but it’s worth a shot!

Very accurate tone tho, I’ve always noticed that he has a scooped tone but yet he has loads of crunch, there a video called some clinic of him doing a Randall showcase and his tone sounded just like that

O timbre dele no cowboys from hell deixava a configuração do amplificador bem diferente dessa. Ele colocava o Ganho no máximo, bastante grave, um pouco de medios e deixava em 45% de agudos. No restante, os esqualizadores paramétricos ele pegava frequências baixas, médias e agudas e pegava muito ganho delas e aquele eq que ele colocava no início da linha da guitarra empurrava os médios com ele. Nope your wrong buddy . Dime scooped out the mids with a pedal in front of the amp with signal chain and then added them in some with a parametric E.Q. in a rack unit in the back and his gain was much higher and the bass was a little lower than what your claiming .

Dime used a 6 band EQ before the amp and the mids were pushed pretty high through the EQ and scooped out at the amp. Dime also used a Furman PQ4. He also ran various overdrive/distortion pedals and ran a noisegate pedal because you get so much noise when you have everything engaged lol. Solid state amps and celestion speakers greenbacks and 70/80s too
