Course Materials
Raqs Sharqi is a modern style that has grown out of Baladi and other folkloric forms, mixed with some elements of Western dance.
SUGGESTED LEVEL: Beginner and suitable for Intermediate Level
COURSE CONTENT (Each Lesson is 1HR in length + 4 Bonus Lessons
❤︎ Week 1 - Intro, Warm Up, Isolations, Stretch, Hip Control, Hip Shimmies, Freestyle & Movement Breakdown
❤︎ Week 2 - Full Warm Up & Technique Training, Begin Choreography & Lyric Translation
❤︎ Week 3 - Full Warm Up and Technique, Choreography review and New Material
❤︎ Week 4 - Goal Setting, Warm Up and Technique, Choreography review and Hafla (Party)
EXTRAS!
- 4 Extra 1HR lessons (In-Studio View w/ my Students) these are Repeat Lessons of Each Week
- Vocabulary: 26 Raqs Sharqi (Movements)
- Goal Setting in Week 4 (Feel free to do this Week 1)
- Lyric Translation of "Nour El Ein" and Dance Breakdown w/ Counts
