I learned this stitch many years ago as the seed stitch. But what ever it is called, this is a nice stitch and makes very nice projects. I have crocheting over 42 years. Thanks for sharing.

When I do this stitch I start each row with a sc and end with a dc, that way I can start each row with a ch 1, sc. To me, my personal opinion only, this gives a firmer edge the starting each row with a ch 3 and don't have that gap between the ch 3 and first stitch of the row. It works exactly the same except for the edge

Thanks for the clarification...I just made a Griddle Stitch washcloth, but thought it was Moss....now I know!   Love the Moogly tutorials!  Many Moogly Thanks!

How do I do increase and decrease if I want to make a triangle shape using griddle stitches?

The griddle stitch, crumpled griddle stitch and lemon peel stitch 're all the same.

Going way too fast for me. I'm new at crochet, and have a hard time following you. Plus the volume on your video is so low, I had to turn on the closed captions. Haven't had to do that for other crochet demonstrations. Looking for another video on griddle
