Spectaculair French Rafale close up at Jagel during NATO Tigermeeting 2024 #dassaultrafale

My first real encounter with this beautiful French fighterjet during the 2024 Tigermeet at Jagel Airbase, Germany. This was a huge military exercise in the North of Germany.
As you might know the French planed together with German, Italian and British Governments to build a new fighterjet in the late 80's, begin 90's.
The French decided at some point they wanted to stop the coöperation between the other countries. They went on and produced the highly appreciated Eurofighter Typhoon.
Dassault developed a new fighterjet based on the Eurofighter, but nevertheless, the Ravalle is a complete different fighterjet which is has a certain popularity among spotters en AV geeks.
