I left active duty as a BMSN. I'm planning on returning after 3 years and as a BM3. Should I look forward to a more rewarding experience?

One more question! I’m 5 points away from getting MA and they said I can apply for a waiver but they said “it isn’t worth it, it won’t get approved.” I qualify for BM and I figured if the waiver gets approved I’ll do MA if not BM. But they are BENT on me doing CS. I really really REALLY don’t want to do CS. Thoughts? advice?

My biggest question is, I have college credits and I’ll be going in as E3 I’m not sure if that makes a difference. Doesn’t really matter to me. I also am married my spouse currently services in the marine corps. How often will I be away from home? Considering we already deal with deployments now, will I be away from home for months at a time?
