Lexus ES300 Cylinder Numbers

In this video I show you where the cylinders are in a Lexus ES 300. The cylinders are numbered one through six, and in this video I show you a diagram of the spark plug firing order and also show you on the engine where all of the different cylinders are located. The front cylinders are very easy to get to if you need to change the spark plugs, but the back cylinders are very difficult to reach, and you have to remove the intake manifold to get to them. Hopefully if your engine that gives you a trouble code for a misfire, and you need to change the spark plug, it is one of the cylinders in the front. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching. I removed the plugs and coil packs without removing intake and I have big hands. If you take your time and use right tools it can be done but I’ve been a mechanic for over 30 years.

If you have worked on vehicles you know how to maneuver and use the right combination of sockets/extensions that accommodate the task at hand. I own a 2000 model es and have changed all coils and plugs without removing anything. If you’re mechanically inclined it’s no big deal👍

You don't have to remove the intake. Use a swivel head socket. The hardest is 3, but doable.

A V6 in a front wheel drive car is the most annoying thing ever. We really need to get back to installing straight 6 engines in vehicles. With a straight six you get such less stress on the main journal that they last forever

My mechanic has changed #3 three times now. I started thinking either he's not honest or the car's got a software problem, so I've been unplugging the battery when that misfire code comes back to reset the ECM. Now i have a PO420.

I face problem coil number 2-4-6
Misfiring then i test coils and plugs was good then angels told me disconnect battry wire then in scantol no misfire found 😮 am muslim
