BMW engine breaks down after the race and everything else falls apart. Just look at their V10 in M5 and M6, horror stories, literally a ticking time bomb.
Merc on the other hand, bulletproof drivetrains.

The Mercedes starts with launch control + got the 4-Matic AWD + got an outside temperature advantage of 6°C.

Always love these fanboys going like "BMW way faster" :D The BMWs Speed overtook the Mercs at about 210 Km/h and at the end, as you can see in the thumbnail, it was equal.
1. How often are you moving with 0-210 Km/h and how often with 210-300? :D
2. The differences in general at all speeds were so minimal, you can't say what's faster just by looking at the speedo. There are also no precise informations about the hp. But sure, the M5 is faster :D

the M5 was faster, but the driver dropped too badly, did not use the launch control, I've seen M5 stock dropping much better than this

AMG speedometer are much more accurate as BMW. Stock limiter as 250km/h on Benz is at 253km/h on speedo. BMW is much more ahead !! I think both cars pretty similar in acceleration. BMW has the much more modern entertainment system and much sporty gearbox. Benz has an bulletproof engine and gearbox cappable 1200NM without any modification and interior quality is higher than BMW. Too bad the entertainment system is pretty oldscool for long time now.

Despite of the fact that i am Mercedes-Benz fan and i really love the speed, i can fully admit and agree with that BMW is faster than Mercedes-Benz.

what kind of mods on the M? sounded like exhaust but I couldn't hear the turbos so they must be stock

Thats an awd cls 63 amg with 700hp not (700+) vs a 745hp rwd m5 f10 almost 50hp more and rwd and the benz is still going almost as fast ///AMG POWER!

vergesst nicht, anderer motor, anderes getriebe, andere übersetzung, andere aerodynamik... es gibt zig gründe wieso der bmw gewonnen hat, warum ist mir letztendlich egal denn ich liebe beide marken (benz ein wenig mehr :D)
