Im in between buying an Escalade & Range Rover Sport SVR. Drove a 2019 Escalade PLATINUM today & it was SWEET! Only thing i didn't like was the shifter up on the steering wheel & most importantly, the start-up & idle was way too quiet. I would of thought a 420hp V8 would have more throat. When accelerating it sounded good, but youd think youre in a V6 at startup & idling.
The 2019 Rover SVR didnt have those two issues, but was missing some of the luxuries of the escalade (kneading massage seats 😇, cooled drink holders).
Tough choice with a $50k budget
