Did a walk thru with Gecko Linux today using the Pantheon Desktop Environment. Pantheon DE is developed by Elementary OS. Getting that Mac-like work flow with the YAST tools was just a great experience! Using my trusty Dell G15 Laptop with Endeavour OS. Installed Gecko Linux on a Virtual Machine using VirtManager.

Pantheon is the best laid out and straight forward polished interface available, but the way the devs interact with others or their criticism is horrible, I would use it if it was on a Ubuntu/fadora/Manjaro base, well supported and ready to go out of the box..

After I installed Ibus for switching language, I could not find where to activate the Ibus in the Gecko OS.

Does the calendar support sync with online accounts such as Google calendar, for example?

I really love Gecko but I've tried Pantheon and struggled with it, at first boot update, there's some package conflicts that I honestly doesn't know how to deal with, example: plank vs plank git, etc. Did it happened to you as well? Thanks!

this just looks like Gnome with a Dock, taking up double the screen space that it really should. No thanks
