With her family background, she's very grounded and humble. Imagine being an Araneta and her Dad being one of the founders of Makati Med. She worked really hard and left a legacy on her own.

Chef Fores. You've worn the same pair of pearl earings your whole adult life and you talked about food, your passion for cooking in this jovial, excited manner. The twinkle in your eyes never left until your last days. Thank you for everything. Rest in peace. 🎉❤

She’s a down-to-earth person whom I met twice while dining at two of her restaurants. Very passionate with her career and anything italian. A sad loss, gone too soon.

Simply beautiful with a special aura. She's young in the video, a little shy. She's moneyed & privileged but she still worked, physically, being in the kitchen. The many businesses she established employed many Filipinos. Rest in peace Gaita.

She was my crush. But then I was from the slums in Manila while she lived everywhere rich. So simple and charming. Am almost sure she would have entertained me as a suitor 0:07 coz she’s so grounded and simple. The song “20 minutes before take off” comes to mind. RIP
